In early trading on Thursday, shares of Walmart topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 6.0%. Year to date, Walmart registers a 20.6% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Amgen, trading down 1.8%. Amgen is showing a gain of 8.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Cisco Systems, trading down 1.8%, and MMM, trading up 1.6% on the day.
